Oil Painting on Board Floral Still Life
Item Details
An oil painting on board of a floral still life, signed ‘D. Morton’. This work features a light blue vase filled with stylized roses and larkspur, set against a vague gray background. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in an ornate gilt and gesso frame with foliate molding and a canvas liner. A couple descriptive labels, one from W.T. Burger Company, are present to the verso.
Condition
- some spot stains throughout liner; wear in frame includes stains, small chips, scratches, gilt loss, dust, and discoloration throughout.
