A restrike etching titled Adam and Eve by Amand Durand (1851-1905) after an original etching by Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669). This print depicts Eve holding the fruit of knowledge and Adam reaching for it as they are watched from above by the dragon-like form of the devil. It is marked "Rembrandt R. 1638." to the lower center. Affixed to the verso is a certificate of authenticity with information about the artist and the print. It is presented in a gold-tone frame with floral detailing and a sawtooth bracket for hanging.
