A circa 1930s chromolithographic poster on paper by Rudd. This depicts the top of a man’s head, wearing a bid and holding up a fork, as he peers over the edge of a red leaf, looking down at a snail in hunger. It advertises the Parisian Ménetrel escargot. This work is presented unmounted and unframed.

Condition

- poor; significant tearing to the edges (particularly to the lower left side; discoloration throughout; paper is very delicate.
