A vintage Button Back Hitchcock painted chair by Ethan Allen. This vintage 1980s chair has a wooden frame and woven, straw seat. The frame is painted black with an ornate gold toned floral and swan motif painted across the seat back, legs, and edging. Along the back of the seat, the chair is marked ‘Ethan Allen Button Back Hitchcock’ in stenciling.

Condition

-the paint is worn in some areas.
-there is a tear in the seat where the straw has been damaged.
-there are some scratches and knicks in the wood to the frame, edges, and seat.
-one wooden cover for screw on back is missing.
