A 1980 signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original painting by well-listed Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 – 2000), titled Escape of the Indoor Sky, released for World Federation of United Nations Associations. The artist’s name, Hundertwasser, is a pseudonym translating to mean ‘One Hundred Waters,’ reflecting the artist’s lifelong mission of conservation and environmentalism. Much of his work directly interfaces with environmental causes. The print is numbered 364/1500 to the lower left and signed to the lower edge. A postage stamp is affixed to the lower right, next to which a blind stamp is embossed. This image is mounted against black matting, under acrylic glass in a silver leaf beveled composite frame, equipped to hang.
