Vintage Swedish Language Book Lot

Item Details

A group of seven early 20th-century vintage Swedish language books, six in leather softcovers and one in hardcover. The leather-bound volumes are from the ‘Complete Works’ (‘Samlade Arbeten’) of various authors including Johan Ludvig Runeberg (three volumes), Carl Michael Bellman (two volumes), and Wilhelm von Braun (one volume). Published by Varldslitteraturens Forlag of Malmo, Sweden, 1928-1929. The hardcover volume is Hyrkuskens Berättelser or ‘The Stories of Hiroksken’ by August Blanche, published 1927 by Albert Bonniers Forlag of Stockholm. It is bound in a marbled cover with a partial leather veneer.

Condition

- light cover wear and paper yellowing consistent with age, but overall good condition, with clean interiors and good bindings and hinges.
