A contemporary Sevres style porcelain urn with gold-tone mounts. The modern piece has an lidded urn form on a cobalt ground, with intricate, partial encrusted gold-tone scrolled and foliates detail and a central roundel with a hand-painted scene of a seated man and woman in a romantic landscape. Elaborate Rococo style gold-tone metal mounts and scrolled foliate handles are applied. The whole resting on a squared plinth with a cobalt ground and similar gold-tone accents. The signature ‘Marino’ is applied below one of the urn’s handles.
