Reproduction Bronze Bust After Frederic Remington "The Savage"

Item Details

A reproduction bronze bust after listed artist Frederic Remington (1861 – 1909), titled The Savage. This freestanding bust depicts a stylized Native American in front portraiture, with exaggerated facial features that is excised at the chest with gouged linear marks. To the verso is an in cast facsimile signature and date of the initial work (1908). It is placed on a tiered, gray marbled base with an affixed felt pad to the underside for support.
