An East Asian hanging scroll with an ink and watercolor painting on paper. Two koi fish form an S-curve in this vertical composition, with a dark fish leaping from the water as a gold fish emerges from turbulent, stylized waves. The artist’s signature is included to the upper left, with a red seal. The paper is fused to off-white silk brocade, that rolls around a wood dowel. A silk tie is affixed to the upper edge of the scroll, for hanging.
