An antique hardcover copy of the Poetical Works of Edgar Allen Poe, edited and with a forward by James Hannay, and published by Addey and Co. of London, 1853. It is illustrated with twenty engravings by various artists, and is bound in an embossed red leather cover with a paneled spine. The top edges of the pages are gilded.

Condition

- detached front and back boards, but bindings are intact; paper yellowing consistent with age.
