Item Details
A set of four pieces of vintage artwork. Featured is a circa 1869 color lithograph on paper by listed artist Albert Fitch Bellows (1829-1883). The print depicts a pastoral landscape scene; it is signed and dated in plate to the lower right. Also featured are two portraits on paper of male figures. One is rendered in colorful chalk pastels; it is signed and dated illegibly to the lower right. The second drawing is a black-and-white pastel work depicting a man in side profile. The set also includes a French mid-century offset lithograph on paper advertising Petit-Beurre Etendard biscuits. All items are presented unframed.
Condition
- “Petit-Beurre” print shows foxing and is slipping from mat; Bellows print shows toning and foxing throughout print and mat; multiple tears to Bellows print and mat; tears and uneven edges to pastel pieces; overall wear to all items, especially to corners and edges; all items are presented loose and unframed.
