A watercolor painting on paper of a marina scene by listed artist Eleanor Rawlin Young (New York, California; 1907 – 2001). The work depicts a lone figure standing among boats on lifts, coated in snow. Singed by the artist to the lower right corner. A hand-written label previously attached to the item listed the title as Ship Works with Snow. Housed in a wood frame with a linen liner and gilt fillet, under acrylic glass and a single layer of green mat.
Condition
- minor wear to mat along upper edge; wear to finish on gilt fillet and wood frame; some stains to linen liner.
