Provincial Louis XV Style Caned Fauteuils

Item Details

A pair of provincial Louis XV style caned fauteuils. The walnut-finished frames feature cartouche-shaped, caned backs above padded, cream upholstered seats. The open, padded arms continue to scrolled handholds over bowed seat rails. The chairs rise on cabriole front legs ending in elevated, whorl feet.

Condition

-the caning on the chair back and seat has wear to the finish; the caning is broken in one small spot on one chair back; the upholstery on the arm rests would benefit from being cleaned
