A collection of historical romances by Alexandre Dumas. Featured titles are Volumes I-III of The Two Dianas (1891), Volumes I-II of Marguerite de Valois (1892), The She-wolves of Machecoul to which is added The Corsican Brothers (1894), and The Page Of the Duke Of Savoy (1891). Volumes II-IV of The Vicomte De Bragelonne; Or, Ten Years Later were published in 1893. Single volumes included are Volume I of Agénor De Mauléon (1897), Monsier De Chauvelin’s Will to which is added The Woman With the Velvet Necklace (1897), Tales Of the Caucasus: The Ball Of Snow, And, Sultanetta (1895), and The Horoscope: A Romance Of the Reign Of François II (1897). Each of the sixteen volumes is bound in green cloth with elaborate gilt decorations to the front covers and spines with gilt top text edges. All feature a tissue-guarded frontispiece titled in red.
