Item Details
A collection of eighteen color lithograph reproductions of original drawings by french military illustrator R. Bataille, from a series titled Souvenir de la Revanche or Remembrance of the Revenge. Each print depicts a busy battle scene filled with soldiers fighting on land, sea, or air. The title of each print is printed to its lower margin, along with a short caption. The series’ title is printed to the upper edge of each. Each print is signed in-plate. A few duplicates are included.
Condition
- papers are slightly yellowed with age. Light creasing and ripping to edges and corners.
