1989 U.S. Congressional Commemorative Three Coin Proof Set

A 1989 United States Congressional Coin proof set which includes a 1989 West Point proof $5 gold coin, 8.359 grams (90% gold, .024 troy ounce silver, 10% alloy), designer John Mercanti, observe is the Capital Dome and reverse is the Eagle from the old Senate Chamber. Also included is a 1989 proof San Francisco silver dollar, 26.730 grams (90% silver, .076 troy ounce, 10% copper), designed by William Woodward, observe is Statue of Liberty and reverse is the Mace of the House of Representatives, and a 1989 San Francisco proof half dollar (92% copper, 8% nickel), observe is Bust of Statue of Freedom and reserve is Capital Building. Item is accompanied by the Certificate of Authenticity.
