A framed oil painting on board by Dutch artist Sipke Kool (1836-1902). The painting depicts a woman on a beach wearing a turn-of-the-century red bathing suit, hat, and Roman sandals. The painting is signed ‘SK’ to the lower left and is presented in an acanthus carved gilt frame.
