Item Details

An antique late 19th century Japonesque Wedgwood footed bowl with a Geisha motif. This Aesthetic Movement bowl has a painted scene with a Geisha beating a drum to the center, surrounded by a border of prunus blossoms. It has three feet with decorative leaf application and a border of orange and yellow leaves. Marked to the bottom with impressed ‘Wedgwood’ mark along with decorator marks ‘9417/6’.
