A wooden sitting Buddha carving, inspired by the Theravada style Buddha. This piece features a Buddha figure sitting in a cross leg formation with one hand in his lap and the other perpendicular to his chest. He is sitting on cushions on a platform. This piece is carved from a dark wood with a glossy lacquer applied. The bottom is unfinished. It is unmarked.

some scuffs around base, markings to back.
