A group of figurines. The collection is made up of horses and dogs from the Morten’s Studio. Oscar Morten was a Swedish sculptor who moved to Chicago and produced over 300 different animals between 1931-1963. His figures are heavier than most of their size as they are made with metal skeletons covered in porcelain. Other examples include wooden, metal and stone examples. There are decals reading ‘Royal Design Morten’s Studio’.
