A French Provincial style tall chest of drawers by Bassett Furniture. This cherry tone serpentine shaped chest features an oversized scalloped top above a collection of five graduated drawers including decorative pulls and dovetail joinery, over scalloped aprons. The chest includes panel sides and rises up on cabriole legs ending in pad feet. There is a marking to the back which reads ‘GI. W. Anton I NE Chry, Mardi Gras’.
