Provincial Louis XV Inspired "Touraine" Secretary by Drexel

Item Details

A Provincial Louis XV inspired Touraine secretary by Drexel. This piece has a walnut stain, and brass-toned knobs and pulls. Appearing to be a chest of drawers, the top is hinged and the top drawer front is faux. The top and faux drawer front fold up and back to reveal cubbies, drawers, and a work space. Below is a stack of three dovetail jointed drawers for additional storage. The piece stands on cabriole legs with whorl feet. It is marked ‘Drexel’ to a drawer interior and to the verso of the piece.
