A Federal style chest of drawers by Kling. This cherry chest features nine drawers with brass batwing pulls. Below the rectangular top is a row of three drawers, with the center drawer having a carved shell to the front and a brass ring pull. Two stacks of three half-width drawers are below. The drawers feature dovetail joinery, and one has a divided interior. The piece stands on ogee bracket feet. It is marked to a drawer interior.
