Royal Doulton "Mr. Pickwick" Toby Jug

A Royal Doulton Mr. Pickwick toby jug. This toby jug issued between 1938 and 1948 depicts the main character from the first novel by Charles Dickens The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club wearing a green hat and brown bow tie. The jug is marked ‘Royal Doulton Made in England A’ to the underside.
