An Empire style bookcase console. Features a large central drawer with two etched round pulls, flanked by protruding buttresses with brass ornaments, at the top. The crosshatched wire panels of the two main cabinet doors beneath allow the viewer to see the two bookshelves within the case; these two doors lock, and two keys on tassels are provided. Two turned pilasters flank the central doors, and the entire unit sits atop a sturdy solid base.
