A Mid Century Modern murphy style desk by Kroehler. This piece has a walnut finish and features a murphy style drop front, with the legs and apron resembling trim detail when closed. To the top of the piece are notched side panels, with a rail connecting. Below is the drop front. When open it offers a shelf, with two half-width flush front drawers underneath, above a large desk area. When closed, it offers access to the stack of three full-width dovetail jointed drawers below. The drawers open with carved knobs, protruding from circular well backplates. The piece stands on flared feet, and is marked ‘Kroehler/Custom Crafted’ to a drawer interior.
