A chinoiserie jewelry chest. This rectangular top chest features two cabinet doors opening to three stacked drawers above a single drawer terminating on bracket feet. The chest features an Asian inspired motif of birds and landscape scenes throughout. Also features gold tone hardware to the corners. The drawer fronts feature batwing plates and bail handles. There are no visible maker’s marks. For matching pieces, see items 17BAL081-087 and 17BAL081-091.
