Collection of 10K Gold Filled Watches

Item Details

A collection of four vintage gold-filled pocket watches. The collection includes a vintage or antique South Bend pocket watch with a gold tone case and bezel, and a white dial with black Arabic numerals and hands, and a sub-dial in the six o’clock position. The inside is marked ‘South Bend Watch Co. South Bend, Ind.’ and is engraved with the number 8435972. The movement is marked ‘South Bend Watch Co. Ind. U.S.A. – Adjusted to Temperature – Double Roller 415 – 17 Jewels’. A vintage Recta watch has an ivory colored dial with black Arabic numerals, and a sub-dial in the six o’clock position and is marked inside ‘MG BM Geneve 366762’. A vintage Elgin pocket watch has a wide, rounded bezel and a white dial with gold tone Arabic numerals and black hands, and it also has a sub-dial in the six o’clock position. A small, ornate pocket watch is marked ‘Swiss’ to the dial, and features raised flower designs to the bezel, with black Arabic numerals and hands. The interior of the case is marked ‘Vogue B&P Warranted 20 Years 10 1/2 Ligne – 3884822’. The movement is marked ‘M. Gunzinger & Fils – Swiss’ and ‘10 Jewels 2 ADJ’.

- all have varying degrees of surface marks, wear and dings; some oxidation throughout; crystals are scratched
- South Bend watch has hairline cracks on the enameled dial; dings and extreme surface wear throughout; dial is broken
- Recta watch is missing all hands
- Vogue “Swiss” watch dial shows discoloration; may be missing hanging ring on crown; extreme wear to metal in areas
