Chinoiserie Chest of Drawers

Item Details

A chinoiserie chest of drawers. This rectangular top chest features two cabinet doors to the top opening to six drawers sitting above five full width stacked drawers terminating on bracket feet. The chest features a Chinese inspired motif of women in gowns and landscape scenes throughout; the women are made of applied stone. Also features gold tone hardware to the corners. The drawer fronts feature butterfly plates and bail handles. There are no visible maker’s marks. For matching pieces, see items 17BAL081-098 and 17BAL081-091.
