V. Lail Oil on Canvas Landscapes
Item Details
A pairing of oil on canvas landscapes. One depicts a grey road that stretches into horizon, bordered by a craggy landscape on fire, with plumes of smoke rising into the sky. The other depicts a hill of closely packed houses leading down to the water in the foreground. Each work is signed to the lower left ‘V.Lail’, and presented in a pale beveled wooden frames.
Condition
- both works are loose in the frames; the larger work shows abrasions along the edges with small amounts of paint loss, slight yellowing to varnish, wear/ scratches/ stains to frame and liner, and some surface dirt; smaller work has several cracks to top with some lift, scratches/ wear/ stains to frame and liner.

- measures larger frame with a visible image that measures 13.0" W x 27.0" H; smaller frame measures 16.5" W x 24.5" H x 2.0" D, with a visible image of 11.25" W x 19.0" H.
