A vintage The Saturday Evening Post advertisement for Adams Black Jack Gum. The publishing date. October 20. 1921, appears in the upper right corner. Black Jack became the first flavored chewing gum sold in the United States in 1884. It is also the first gum sold in sticks. The offset lithograph advertisement is double matted and framed in a black frame with a picture wire.
