The books include Civilisation by Kenneth Clark, published in 1969 by Harper & Row; Is Paris Burning by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins, published in 1965 by Simon and Schuster, Inc.; 1435-1506 Age of Discovery, published in 1907 by Funk & Wagnalls Company; a Standard Library edition of The French Revolution Volume II by Thomas Carlyle, published in 1893 by T.Y. Crowell & Co.; The History of England From the Accession of James II Volumes I and II by Thomas Babington Macaulay, published in 1856 by Harper & Brothers Publishers; The Rise of Napoleon Bonaparte by Robert Asprey, published in 2000 by Basic Books; Tapestry: the Mirror of Civilization by Phyllis Ackerman, published in 1933 by the Oxford University Press; and more. Some of these books have cloth bindings on board and the remaining books have leather bindings on board with bands to the spines.
