Item Details
A gouache painting on paper by artist Howard Ward, titled Maypole. This painting depicts a picnic gathering of families enjoying each other’s company atop a rolling hill, as a group of children dance around a maypole while clutching at vibrant ribbons which protrude from the top. To the lower corners of the composition is an artist signature and title. The painting is presented under glass beneath a single-layered mat in a natural wooden frame with a green inlay border and hanging wire to the verso.

- minor wear to frame finish; glass could benefit from cleaning.
