Item Details
A pair of offset lithographs after Henry Major titled The Philosopher’s Heir and The Philosophers Offering. The works depict a portrait of male and female child with rosy cheeks against a green ground with visual brushstrokes. They are both signed in plate by the artist and labeled on the verso with stickers. The pieces are presented in wood frames under glass, wired for hanging on the verso.
Condition
- minor wear throughout frame finish; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; torn paper backing.
