A pair of offset lithographs on paper after pieces, titled View of Wapping Street and Pinnacle Rock On The Elkhorn, by listed Ohio-born painter Paul Sawyier (1865-1917). These prints depict delicately-rendered scenes of people making their way down an autumnal path as well as a figure leading horses to drink at a stone lined-stream. Pinnacle Rock On The Elkhorn is signed in plate to the lower left, and both prints are matted in gold tone frames with hanging hardware to the verso. Each has a notation to the verso noting the artist and the title of the original work.
Condition
- frames are worn; pieces are lightly dirty.
