Margarete Steiff Teddy Bear with Original Box
Item Details
A reproduction vintage ‘Teddybärr – Modell 1902’ Steiff teddy bear, designed by Richard Steiff, the nephew of the company founder Margarete Steiff. The bear is made of light gray-brown wool blend mohair, with tan felt paws, glass or plastic eyes, and an embroidered nose and mouth. The bear has a button and tag in its left ear, marked with number ‘0150/32’, and it also comes with a sewn in fabric tag marked with the fabric content, and ‘Made in Western-Germany’. A paper tag is attached to the bear’s right paw, and it comes in the original box marked ‘Margarete Steiff Giengen-Brenz’.
