This three-volume set, first published by Encyclopædia Brittanica, Inc. in 1968, is a replica of the original three-volume encyclopedia published by Colin Macfarquhar of Edinburgh in 1771. The books are brown hardcover volumes with some deliberate antique-style wear to the covers and pages.
