A mid-century hand-colored etching on paper by listed French artist Maurice Jacque. The piece, titled Barbizon, Maison de Millet, depicts L’Atelier Jean-François Millet on Rue Grande in Barbizon, France. The work includes hand-colored embellishments in green, red, brown and yellow. It is signed in pen to the lower right and titled to the lower left. It is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- toning to print, especially along mat lines; surface wear and scratching to frame; glass would benefit from cleaning.
