A colored engraving on paper by E. Dayes of an original painting titled A Visit to the Grandfather by John Raphael Smith (British, 1752 – 1812). This print depicts a woman and three children visiting an older gentleman sitting in a chair. The names of the artists and the title are present in typeset below the main image. Mounted under glass and french matting, the print is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a wire present to the verso for hanging purposes.

Condition

- wear to the frame and chipped paint; discoloration to the print; residue beneath glass.
