Ink Wash

An ink drawing on paper titled Landscape With Trees by Swedish artist Holger Almqvist (1907-1978). This drawing depicts a field with several barren trees. It is signed and dated ‘’53’ by hand in ink to the lower right corner. The drawing is matted in off-white and presented behind glass in a gray-washed wooden frame. To the verso is a wire for hanging, a decal that specifies the artist’s name and title of the piece, and a stamp that reads ‘Stockholm’.

Condition

- wear consistent with age; foxing and toning to matte and and drawing paper; scratching and wear throughout frame.
