1950s Porcelain Floral Tea Cups with Luncheon Plates
Item Details
A set of floral porcelain tableware produced in the 1950s in Japan. This set includes four luncheon plates and four teacups. The plates have a small impressed circle which fits the base of the teacups, and swirling gold tone lines emanating from it, dividing illustrations of pink flowers on leafy stems. The pieces are marked to their undersides with a ‘G’ in a wreath, and ‘Japan’, indicating these were produced in Japan and imported by Giftcraft Importers of Toronto, Canada in the 1950s.
