Antique Wedgwood Club Shaped Ash Receiver

Item Details

An antique Wedgwood club shaped ash receiver. The piece has a transfer of the King of Diamonds with a short poem that reads, ‘Ye King of Diamonds I am Told is Guardian of Life’s Potts of Gold.’ The underside is marked as such ‘Copyright 1909 Augustus L. Jansson West Somerville Mass R No 550208 Wedgwood Etruria England’ printed in black with illegible marks in red. ‘Wedgwood’ is impressed on the bottom as well.

- wear consistent with age and use; wear to paint; crazing throughout; minor chips.
