Limited Edition 1977 Print With Mixed Media on Embossed Paper "Shells"
Item Details
A 1977 limited edition print with mixed media on embossed paper. The piece, titled Shells, depicts a series of overlapping brown squared shapes. The image is overlaid with three copper tone metal rectangular pieces, each embossed with sea shell imagery. The print is signed and dated in graphite to the lower right; however, no clear artist attribution could be made. It is titled in graphite to the lower left and noted as number 89 out of an edition of 100. The piece is double matted in brown and tan and presented under glass in a gold tone metal frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- to Fair; toning to paper and mats, especially to edges; scratching and edge wear to frame finish; loose joints to frame; water damage to frame’s cardboard backing.
