An offset lithograph on Masonite after a painting by Linda Denison of cats inspired by Edgar Degas’ painting In a Cafe (The Absinthe Drinker). It depicts two cats dressed as a man and a woman sitting at a table in a cafe. It is signed in ‘Linda Denison’ in the plate to the lower left and ‘AP1’ is written in the plate to the bottom right. The print has been painted over with a clear medium the protects and gives the surface a brush stroke texture. It is mounted in a black wood frame that is wired for hanging. ‘Madame Jeantaud au miroir circa 1875, Edgar Degas (1834-1917) Au Cafe’ is hand written to the verso.
