German 800 Silver Flatware Set Marked for Retailer H. Meyen & Co
Item Details
A German 800 silver flatware set marked for retailer H. Meyen & Co. This includes six dinner knives with stainless steel J A. Henckels blades and hollow handles, eight place spoons, five salad forks, and a dinner fork. The handles are engraved ‘EL’, and they are marked with the crescent and crown reichsmark, ‘800’, a worn pictorial maker’s mark, and ‘H.Meyen & Co’. The set is presented in a tarnish resistance 1847 Rogers Bros wooden case. The total approximate weight, excluding the knives, is 20.180 ozt.

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing; personalized engravings to the handles.
