Pair of Dorothea Dana Unframed Watercolor Paintings

A pair of original unframed watercolor paintings on heavyweight watercolor paper with deckled edges by 20th century American artist Dorothea (Dobias) Dana. The first is titled Sand Dunes, and depicts a landscape along the banks of a wide lake. It is signed in blue ink to the lower right and titled to the verso. The second piece is double-sided; one side depicts a stunning purple, blue, and yellow sunset or sunrise over a wide flat landscape, and the other side is titled Mt. Lake and depicts a reflective body of water at the base of a snowy peak. This painting is unsigned, but comes directly from a collection of the artist’s works. Presented without matting or framing.
