A color wood engraving print on BFK Rives paper titled Canto 16 – Appraition de Dité from the series The Divine Comedy by well-listed artist Salvador Dalí (Spain, 1904-1989). The work illustrates a scene from Dante’s The Divine Comedy: Hell. Unsigned by the artist and not marked with an edition number. To the lower left margin is the paper watermark. The paper is mounted to a second piece of paper with a stamp the the verso from The Salvador Dalí Gallery, Inc. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from The Great Dane Collection of Philadelphia. Included in the Catalogue Raisonné, “The Official Catalog of the Graphic Works of Salvador Dali” by Albert Field, catalogue page 189-200.
