Japanese Ceramic Casters
Item Details
A collection of Japanese ceramic casters. This includes a vinegar and olive oil pitcher set, and a salt and pepper shaker set in the form of pitcher. Each piece appears as if a rope tied cloth bag, with rope detailing around the neck and down the handles surounded by molded ‘gathering’ of the cream ground. They are decorated with deep blue, rose and yellow blossoms. Each is marked underneath ‘Japan’, with no discernible maker’s mark.
