An original 1988 oil painting on burlap by reputed 20th century Cincinnati painter Dewey Harden (1924 – 2012). The painting depicts two ranchers on horseback overseeing a small herd of cows who crazy on the side of a grassy slope. The painting is signed and dated in white to the lower right corner. It is presented in a wooden frame with a stripe of brushed gold tone finish to its inner edge. Harden focused on his art career after returning from serving in the Navy during World War II, and became proficient in construction, architecture, welding, and Realist painting.
