An oil painting on canvas of a coastal scene. This Impressionist painting depicts a vibrant array of flowers and foliage that surround a clustering of houses that overlook a calm body of water to the distance. Found to the lower left corner of the composition is an artist signature appearing to read ‘Matt Thornal’. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with a D-ring bracket to the verso for hanging.

- some scratching to the frame; chipping to paint on frame throughout; discoloration to the canvas, particularly in the sky.
